French Teachers

We were delighted to welcome Caroline, Valerie, Caroline and Maryse to our class today.
They are primary school teachers from the Massif Central in France, and they are improving their (already excellent) English for two weeks in Galway.
We showed them how we learn maths through activities, and how we learn Irish.
They in turn taught us about where they come from in France,
showed us lovely pictures of nearby inactive volcanoes,
and local foods and drinks.
The French teachers taught us a song about the body in French.
It really was fun, we all joined in.

Thank you for visiting us today.
We hope you enjoyed visiting a primary school in Ireland.
Maybe we can be pen pals or SKYPE pals with your students in France.
Bon Vacances en Irlande!
