Last year when Ms. Ferguson was our teacher, we planted carrots. Maggie, our SNA, helped with the planting. The carrots have grown lots over the summer. They were left outside the classroom in a big pot and the rain watered them nicely.
Welcome to 2nd Class, Room 9. We have 22 children in our class - 8 girls and 14 boys. We work really well together and are great friends. Remember to click on photos to see them enlarged.

They have grown lots and now they are ready to be harvested. Today Maggie helped us to pull up the carrots. We are delighted with how big they have grown. On Monday we will taste them and see how delicious they are. We know that carrots are vegetables and that they are very healthy to eat. We can't wait to try them.
