Weighing with sugar and margarine

Today we did lots of estimating and measuring with 1kg=1000g weights (sugar) 

1/2kg=500g weights (2 blocks of margarine) and

1/4kg=250g weights.

We even used our weights and a balance to test and see that the bag of sugar and the margarine were indeed the weights they said they were!
