Trip to the Christmas market

Today we headed to the Christmas market with Mr. Gleeson (our Home/School Liason teacher) and Mr. Elwood and his class.
It was a very interesting walk to town along the railway.
We stopped every so often to see interesting sights like the army baracks, and trains passing.
We saw a railway turntable and some very interesting decorations in the trees (and a couple of nests).
We think someone tall like the BFG must have done the decorating in town.
We relaxed by the old city wall,
and filled up our maths trail at the market.
We all (even Ms. McLoughlin) had a ride on the carousel.
That really was a lot of fun!
Story time with one of Santa's elves, then a visit to Santa himself!
We got the bus back to school again.
What an amazing experience.
A huge "Thank You" to Mr. Gleeson for organizing such a fantastic day for us!
