We went on a nature walk yesterday. We saw lots of different kinds of buds. We liked the Ash and the Horse Chestnut buds. Ash buds are small and black. 
Horse Chestnut buds are brown and sticky.
We also saw the horseshoe shapes on the branches of the horse chestnut trees. We will be watching these trees to see if we can see when the bud burst happens - when the new green leaves burst out of the buds.
