Swimming Lessons tomorrow

Swimming lessons for all 2nd class students.

Planting Tomatoes

Today we planted tomato plants from seeds.

Each of us had a packet of (10 ish) seeds, a cup and an instruction page.

We planted the seeds in compost and we are going to water them every Wednesday.

We can't wait to taste our own tomatoes!

Easter Closing

Due to a very large funeral in Renmore tomorrow

school will be closing tomorrow (April 7th, 2017)

for

 Junior Infants and Senior Infants at 11am

1st Class to 6th Class at 11:30am

A Portuguese Easter Cake

Look at the delicious Portuguese Easter cake

made by Tomás and his mum.

It looks, smells and tastes delicious.

It was such a surprise to see two boiled eggs (in their shells) in the middle of the cake!

More Hip Hop with Fabiane

We absolutely love our hip hop sessions with Fabiane.

We love the music and the dances.

It is such fun and such good exercise.

Even teacher joins in!

Chalices

We have made some really stunning chalices in preparation for our First Holy Communion on May 13th this year.

Pop Up Easter Chicks

 We made some fun pop-up Easter chicks.

We use forces to help the chick hatch.

We can push or pull the skewer to have the chick pop up from and back to his shell!
