A fire engine in our school

Papier mache ladybirds

We used newspapers and flour and water paste to do some papier mache art.
We covered yoghurt pots with the papier mache, then made spheres out of newspaper and glued these on to make the ladybirds heads.  Just wait till you see the finished products!

Orienteering

We tried orienteering at PE time.  We had to find and record clues.  It was a lot of fun.

Looking at the Easter garden

After chatting about the stories from the rosary, we decided to pay a visit to Renmore church to see the Easter garden.  We loved seeing the empty tomb and Jesus in the garden.  We also took a look at this year's Paschal candle, and at the stain glass window showing John the Baptist baptising Jesus in the River Jordan.

May: Mary's month

Fr. Rob came to class today.  He brought each of us rosary beads. We will try to say a decade of the rosary every day in the month of May both at school and at home.
