Frist Communion Photos

We had a fabulous day at our First Holy Communion on Saturday 14th May 2016.

Sea Prints

We made some lovely prints with lino ink, a roller and our imaginations.

We drew our pictures onto lino ink.

They turned out really well!

Our Ant Hotel

Our ants have settled really well into their classroom home..

They have made tunnels in the soil.

They have even moved some soil to the smaller feeding chamber.

We can see them walking between the chamber and the hotel.

Teacher has been giving them fruit to eat and water from the water butt.  She is going to release them back into her garden today.

Hovercraft

We were talking about how hovercrafts can move over the water on a layer of air.

We could make our own hovercrafts with used CDs, blue tack and balloons.

First of all we tried moving the hovercraft with no air in the balloon.

It worked SO much better as a hovercraft!

Some of us even made our own at home.

About the communion next Saturday

People long ago used quils dipped in ink with which to write.
